When Peaches meets her crush Ethan, Manny arrives and says her that she's grounded accidentally humiliating her in front of the other teenagers.

While searching for Granny when she's missing, Manny sees Peaches and Louis going to the falls and gets mad. Then Sid arrives and is initially happy to see them again but they abbandon him again when he goes away for a second revealing to have searched for him just to dump him his Granny, much to Manny and Sid's horror and sadness.

There, trying to get the acorn, Scrat starts to run which cause the continental drift. The film begins with Scrat traveling in a mountain to bury his new acorn but when he buries it the mountain opens in two parts and the squirrels falls by the Dinosaur World (where Buck is still fighting Rudy) until the center of Earth.
